These are the Terms of Use for PODatlas. By visiting podatlas.co or any subdomain of it, you agree to these terms. They are written in plain English. If anything is unclear, email legal@podatlas.co before relying on the site.

Who you are dealing with

PODatlas is run by Mike Savage, trading as a sole trader in the United Kingdom. There is no separate company. The legal counterparty for any obligation on this site is Mike Savage personally, acting in the course of business.

What this site is

PODatlas is an independent directory of print-on-demand suppliers, tools, marketplaces, and sales channels. The directory exists to help people who run or want to start a print-on-demand business find providers and compare options.

The site publishes:

• Listings for third-party companies, products, and services
• Editorial guides, comparisons, and notes about the print-on-demand industry
• A newsletter with new listings, updates, and occasional commentary

PODatlas is not itself a print-on-demand provider. It does not print, fulfil, or sell physical products. It is a directory and editorial site.

Use of the site

You may read, link to, share, and reference PODatlas freely, for personal or commercial use. I want this to be useful, and that means letting it be shared.

You may not:

• scrape the site at a rate or volume that disrupts service for other visitors
• copy the directory database wholesale to republish it as your own directory
• frame, mirror, or republish substantial portions of the editorial content without credit and a link back
• use the site to send spam, run an attack, or otherwise abuse the infrastructure
• pretend to be PODatlas, or imply an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist

Reasonable use that is not on the list above is fine. Quoting a paragraph in a blog post with a link is fine. Linking to a listing is encouraged.

Listings on the directory

The directory is curated. Listings are added by me, sometimes after a submission via the Submit a supplier form. Submission does not guarantee inclusion. I reserve the right to add, edit, decline, or remove any listing at my discretion.

A listing on PODatlas is not an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee. It is a record that a provider exists, with a description of what it does. Verification of facts (pricing, products, MOQ, shipping) is done at the time of writing and gets stale. Always check the provider's own site before you act on anything you read here.

If you are the operator of a listed company and you spot something wrong, email legal@podatlas.co and I will fix it. There is no fee to be listed, and there is no fee to be removed.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on PODatlas are affiliate links. If you click one and end up paying for a product or service, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

PODatlas is a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme and may be a participant in other affiliate programmes from time to time. Affiliate income helps fund the site.

Affiliate status does not change which providers get listed, where they sit on the page, or what I say about them. Listings are added on the basis of relevance to a print-on-demand audience, not commercial relationships. Where a listing involves an affiliate link, that is disclosed inline on the listing.

If you would rather not use an affiliate link, every listing also shows the provider's direct domain. You can navigate there yourself.

Newsletter and forms

The newsletter is opt-in, double opt-in, and you can unsubscribe from any email. The supplier submission form and the contact form are described in detail in the Privacy Policy.

By submitting information through any form on this site, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. If you submit information about a company you do not own or represent, you accept that I may verify it independently before publishing, and that I may decline to publish if I cannot verify it.

Intellectual property

Content I publish. Editorial content, design, layout, and the curated structure of the directory are © Mike Savage. You may quote and link freely. You may not republish substantial portions without permission.

Content you submit. When you submit a listing suggestion, a correction, or a contact-form message, you grant me a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, edit, and publish that content on PODatlas as part of the directory. You keep the underlying rights to your own content.

Third-party content. Provider names, logos, screenshots, and product references belong to the respective owners. They are used here for the purpose of identification and editorial commentary, which is fair under UK copyright law. If you are the owner and you object, email legal@podatlas.co and I will assess and respond.

No professional advice

PODatlas publishes information about print-on-demand providers and tools. It does not publish legal, tax, financial, or professional advice. Anything you read on this site is general information about the print-on-demand industry, not advice tailored to your situation.

If you are making a business decision — picking a supplier, signing a contract, opening a store — do your own due diligence. Where it matters, get advice from a professional who knows your specific circumstances.

Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided "as is". I make a reasonable effort to keep listings current and accurate, but I do not guarantee that information is complete, up to date, or free of errors. Providers change their pricing, products, and terms without telling me.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for:

• decisions you make based on information on the site
• losses arising from a provider's products, services, or conduct
• downtime, errors, or interruptions of the site
• the content of any third-party site you reach via a link from PODatlas

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited by UK law.

Links to third-party sites

PODatlas links extensively to third-party sites, including providers, tools, and marketplaces. I do not control those sites and I am not responsible for their content, security, or practices. Following an outbound link is at your own risk.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives at this URL, with the "last reviewed" date below. Material changes — anything that affects what you can or cannot do on the site — will be noted in the newsletter.

Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not, stop using the site.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in another part of the UK or the EU, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts to the extent your local law gives you that right.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
